Henk Holsheimer is a contemporary Dutch / French artist, collector, and composer. He began his career as a concept designer at LEGO in Denmark, but later transitioned to contemporary art.

His work explores the relationship between nature and human-made creations. He works across diverse techniques: monochrome oil paintings, watercolors, and charcoal studies. A distinctive series consists of paintings named after original car paint shades, many inspired by natural phenomena.

Holsheimer is also musically active. He composes for rare acoustic instruments and analog synthesizers, with compositions characterized by subtle tonal nuances and gradual transformation.

His philosophy is minimalist and authentic: he chooses pure materials and quality tools. Henk lives and works near Bordeaux in France.
